Nowadays the world is facing an escalating
level of piracy even though there are so many tools available to detect it. There
are many piracy reporting centers too, which sense piracy within minutes but
still it does not aid in its decline.
This is a pirated movie or a pirated essay is a common thing you hear
every day. It is even more common in essays, term paper, assignments etc. most
of the time the assignments or the task given are plagiarized hence pirated.
This
frequently happens in thesis because
it is long and exhausting research paper and students copy paste stuff from
research engines without citing it. In it especially there is a section of
bibliography where all the citations should come securing your hard work. Even
if you pick something from the internet and put it right away without changing
it and you have cited it under bibliography then you are good to go.
The
bibliography is a list which makes it convenient to arrange all the sources
consulted and cited throughout the research paper alphabetically. The method of
citation may vary according to the format being used. The format is different
for APA format and MLA format. The instructions accordingly should be followed.
Placing
a book whose title begins with a date in bibliography might be difficult but
reading the specific format instruction, this may solve the problem. Both the
formats instruct the students to write the bibliographies in an alphabetical
order. In APA format the title of the book should come first following the
publication year and then the city of publication, whereas, in MLA format after
the title of the book there should be the author’s first name following the
city of publication. In both the cases the title will not affect the order, and
if it has to be written alphabetically then the order can be placed numerical
starting from the smallest digit proceeding to the largest. If there are many books by the same author
and one of its titles is numeric based then it can be referenced under the name
of the particular author.
One
should be very sensitive about the bibliography and double check it to avoid
any kind of plagiarism. It is one of the most important part of writing which
many students ignore and lose marks.
